Creamline secures third-place finish in PVL On Tour, extends podium streak to 18

Creamline secured a bronze medal finish in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) On Tour by defeating Cignal with scores of 25-17, 29-27, and 25-17 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City on Sunday.

This victory marked Creamline's fourth PVL podium placement, extending their total to 18 consecutive finishes since the league's inception.

Despite falling short of a championship for the first time after three years, Creamline demonstrated their consistency and commitment by avenging an earlier loss against Cignal in a thrilling straight-set match.

In a critical second set where Cignal led 24-20, key contributions from Michele Gumabao and Alyssa Valdez helped Creamline rally to win the set 29-27 after a successful challenge by Cignal.

Creamline's victory not only secured their place on the podium but also highlighted their legacy as the most successful team in PVL history with 10 championships, four runner-up finishes, and now an unprecedented 18 consecutive podium appearances.
