Chery Tiggo advances to PVL On Tour finals

Chery Tiggo secured their place in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) on Tour finals after defeating Cignal with a score of 25-17, 16-25, 25-21, 25-23 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

The victory marks Chery Tiggo's return to the PVL finals for the first time since their debut championship in Ilocos Norte against Creamline in 2021.

Ara Galang contributed significantly with 15 points, tying Cess Robles' team-high output and delivering the final hit to seal the victory.

Chery Tiggo will face either Creamline or PLDT in the PVL On Tour finale set for Sunday at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Imee Hernandez chipped in 12 points highlighted by four blocks, while rookie Renee Peñafiel added 10 markers, helping Chery Tiggo return to a finals stage after four years.
