Interim coach Franco Atienza expressed optimism that his team has grown since their last two quarterfinal losses to San Miguel in the previous seasons.

Converge turned the game around in the third quarter, outscoring Magnolia 32-18 to take control of the contest, with key contributions from Jalen Jones and Justin Arana.

Import Jalen Jones led Converge with 27 points and 12 rebounds, while Justin Arana added a double-double of 12 points and 12 rebounds.
