Cone: Gilas performs well in tune-up despite roster issues

Gilas Pilipinas coach Tim Cone says the team performed better than expected in their lone tune-up game against Changwon LG Sakers ahead of the Asian Games.

Despite roster mix-ups, Cone maintains hope for players Calvin Abueva, Terrence Romeo, Jason Perkins, and Mo Tautuaa to still join the team before the games start.

The Philippine Olympic Committee is lobbying for these four players to be included in the final lineup as the Asiad opening ceremony approaches.
