Comelec proclaims Bagong Henerasyon party-list winner

The Commission on Elections (Comelec) has formally proclaimed Bagong Henerasyon (BH) party-list as one of the winning party-list organizations for Eleksyon 2025.

On Thursday, Comelec issued a certificate of finality and entry of judgment regarding the disqualification petition against BH, clearing them for proclamation.

Comelec Chairman George Garcia stated that Rob Nazal Jr., the first nominee of BH, will represent the group in the 20th Congress until June 30, 2028.

BH party-list opted not to hold a formal ceremony and received their certificate of proclamation directly from Comelec.

According to Comelec Resolution No. 9523, a decision or resolution by the Comelec en Banc on special actions will be final and executory after five days unless halted by the Supreme Court.
