Comelec postpones five plebiscites to prep for 2022 polls

The Commission on Elections (Comelec) has postponed five scheduled plebiscites until after the May 9, 2022 elections.

The affected plebiscites include the vote to divide Maguindanao into two provinces.

Comelec cited the need to focus resources on preparations for next year’s national and local elections.
