Monsoon trough brings scattered rains Saturday

PAGASA forecasts cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms across parts of Visayas, Mindanao, Bicol, Davao, Zamboanga Peninsula, Quezon, Marinduque, Romblon, Mindoro, and Kalayaan Islands due to the monsoon trough on Saturday.

Metro Manila and other areas will experience partly cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.

Winds across the country are expected to be light to moderate from southwest to southeast, causing slight to moderate coastal water conditions.

An additional tropical depression is located outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility, approximately 1,005 km west of Northern Luzon.
