CIDG busts 6 for vape products with marijuana flavor, seized drugs worth PHP70K

CIDG operatives arrested six individuals, including a female minor, for selling vape products with marijuana flavor in Quezon City on August 15.

During the arrest, suspects 'Charles,' 'Marc,' 'Steph,' 'Paulyn,' 'Jessa,' and the minor 'Mary' were seized with illicit vape products, party drugs, and suspected shabu worth approximately PHP70,000.

CIDG director Brig. Gen. Christopher Abrahano emphasized that these operations protect public health, particularly among youth and minors, from the dangers of such substances.

The operation also uncovered three sachets of white substance believed to be shabu during a transaction involving violet-colored party drugs in tablet form offered by 'Charles'.

Authorities charged the suspects with violations related to consumer protection laws and dangerous drug regulations, while the minor suspect will be turned over to the Department of Social Welfare and Development.
