Chot Reyes praises Gilas effort despite loss to Senegal

Gilas Pilipinas head coach Chot Reyes praised his team's effort despite losing 72-64 to Senegal in a tournament in China on Friday.

Reyes acknowledged the players' fighting spirit and defensive improvement, noting they arrived late due to travel issues.

Despite the loss, Reyes sees positive signs for Gilas as it prepares for the Fiba World Cup co-hosted by the Philippines starting Aug. 25.
