Chot Reyes leaves future with Gilas in SBP's hands

Chot Reyes has left his future with Gilas Pilipinas in the hands of the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) after the team's poor performance in the 2023 FIBA World Cup.

Reyes, who replaced Tab Baldwin in early 2022, acknowledged that he has retired multiple times but returned to serve his country.

The team is currently on a four-game losing streak and is the first host nation to lose its first three games since Colombia in 1982.
