Choco Mucho beats PLDT, extends winning streak to three

Choco Mucho extended their winning streak to three games by defeating PLDT with scores of 21-25, 25-22, 25-18, and 25-18 in a thrilling PVL All-Filipino Conference match on Thursday at the PhilSports Arena.

The Flying Titans improved their record to 5-3 and secured solo fourth place, while PLDT dropped to 4-4 following their loss.

Coach Dante Alinsunurin dedicated the victory to injured player Kat Tolentino, encouraging her to recover quickly as she continues to recuperate from a ruptured appendix.

Sisi Rondina led Choco Mucho with a stellar performance of 20 points, including timely hits in a decisive 11-3 rally that sealed the win; Dindin Santiago-Manabat contributed 16 points and dedicated her efforts to Tolentino.

Despite Savi Davison's impressive 27-point performance for PLDT, the lack of secondary offensive options hindered their chances against Choco Mucho's well-rounded team.
