Chery Tiggo beats ZUS Coffee 3-0 in PVL Invitational

Chery Tiggo secured a 25-17, 25-17, 25-23 victory over ZUS Coffee on Tuesday at the PhilSports Arena, improving their record to 3-1 and moving closer to a finals berth in the 2025 PVL Invitational Conference.

Cess Robles was instrumental for Chery Tiggo with a team-high 17 points, including 15 attacks and two blocks, especially during the decisive third set where ZUS put up a strong fight.

Despite some early struggles, Chery Tiggo's coach Norman Miguel kept his players focused, reminding them not to relax despite their lead. This ensured they were able to withstand the late surge from the undermanned ZUS team.

ZUS Coffee remains winless at 0-3 and has been eliminated along with Creamline, Cignal, and PLDT (4-0) is now the league leader, leaving only Kobe Shinwa University as the other team still in contention for a finals spot.

Errors by ZUS players, including Santiago's net hit and Estoque's attack error, sealed the victory for Chery Tiggo in a closely contested final set.
