Celebs aid victims of Super Typhoon Carina and southwest monsoon

Filipino celebrities including Marian Rivera, Dingdong Dantes, Heart Evangelista, Rocco Nacino, and others participated in relief efforts for families affected by Super Typhoon Carina and the enhanced southwest monsoon.

Rivera and Dantes, along with their children Zia and Sixto, repacked over 700 relief goods at home before personally turning them over to the GMA Kapuso Foundation's warehouse on Friday.

Dingdong Dantes led the distribution of relief goods in Marikina alongside Rocco Nacino and Beatrice Gomez, while Heart Evangelista spearheaded packing efforts as president of the Senate Spouses Foundation.

Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo used Instagram to ask for donations for individuals and pets affected by the typhoon, emphasizing that all contributions will be utilized to help those in need.

Other celebrities such as Enzo Pineda, Ashley Ortega, Faith Da Silva, and 'Unang Hirit' hosts Shaira Diaz and Suzi Entrata-Abrera also volunteered for packing and distribution efforts.

Gerald Anderson and actor-singer Ronnie Liang participated in rescue operations for a stranded family and other residents of Quezon City, respectively.
