Caraga reports 39 new Covid-19 cases, active infections rise to 224

As of Monday, January 10, the Caraga Region has reported a total of 49,437 cumulative COVID-19 cases since March 2020, with active cases increasing to 224 due to 39 new infections recorded on Sunday.

The new cases are distributed across various cities and provinces within Caraga, including Butuan (19), Bayugan (1), Surigao City (1), Agusan del Sur (11), Surigao del Sur (5), and Surigao del Norte (2).

Additionally, five recoveries were recorded on Sunday, bringing the total number of recoveries in the region to 47,314, while the death toll remains at 1,899.
