Caraga logs 30 new COVID-19 cases, 413 recoveries

As of Friday, September 11, Caraga region reported 30 new COVID-19 cases, increasing total infections to 705 with 413 recoveries and 18 deaths.

Butuan City accounted for most of the new cases, prompting health officials to recommend a zonal containment strategy in areas with high case numbers.

The Regional Task Force against Covid-19 One Caraga Shield identified 10 barangays with the highest active cases, including Libertad and Villa Kanangga.

Mayor Ronnie Vicente Lagnada announced procurement of around 30,000 testing kits to last until December for Butuan City's zonal containment efforts.
