Raymond Dominguez alive but infected with COVID-19

High-profile inmate Raymond Dominguez is alive but infected with COVID-19 and being held at New Bilibid Prison's isolation area.

Volunteers Against Crime and Corruption initially reported that Dominguez had died from the virus, prompting an investigation by the National Bureau of Investigation.

Dominguez, a convicted car theft group leader, was placed in isolation after testing positive for COVID-19.

He is one of 258 inmates at New Bilibid Prison who have tested positive for the virus, with 21 deaths reported.
