Gov’t proposes PH-Progreso for pandemic-hit firms

The government has proposed PH-Progreso to provide capital infusion for industries and firms affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Acting Socioeconomic Planning Secretary Karl Kendrick T. Chua stated that this support would come with conditions and there would be a trade-off.

Chua emphasized during a meeting with Finex members that nothing is free and economic principles must be applied.
