Cagayan residents call for charges vs Magat Dam operators

Cagayan residents are calling for charges to be filed against the operators of Magat Dam following severe flooding in November 2020.

Governor Manuel Mamba stated that while there is public pressure to pursue legal action, the provincial government will study this with their legal team before deciding on next steps.

Mamba acknowledged the need for medium-term and long-term plans to mitigate future flooding incidents.
