NDRRMC eyes Fort Magsaysay, Caballo Island for Wuhan evacuee quarantine

Filipinos returning from Wuhan, China may be quarantined at Fort Magsaysay in Nueva Ecija or Caballo Island in Manila Bay.

The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council is coordinating with the Armed Forces of the Philippines to prepare these sites as quarantine areas.

Health officials visited Caballo Island on Friday and will visit Fort Magsaysay on Saturday.

Filipinos in China may be repatriated next week, though no definite flight schedule has been set.
