Boracay opens to GCQ, MGCQ tourists Oct 1

Starting October 1, Boracay Island will open to tourists from areas under GCQ and MGCQ, including those from Western Visayas.

The Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases formalized this decision in Resolution No. 74.

Tourists must present a negative RT-PCR test result taken within 48 to 72 hours before travel.

Malacañang reminded tourists to comply with the 'test-before-travel' policy as a preventive measure against COVID-19.
