Bohol plans October reopening for local tourists

Bohol plans to reopen for tourists in October as part of the 'tourist bubble' due to low coronavirus cases.

Tourism protocols are being drafted, and the province expects a Php 1-billion loss from only 85,000 visitors this year.

Secretary Carlito Galvez said based on visits by government officials, Bohol is prepared for local tourism.

Galvez added that Governor Arthur Yap is ready to open for local tourists in early to mid-October.
