Sen Bong Go skips SONA for stress test, watches via TV

Senator Bong Go did not attend President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s third State of the Nation Address (SONA) on Monday due to undergoing a stress test.

Go informed his followers that he took the stress echocardiogram to ensure his physical fitness for continued service around the country and is expected to seek reelection in 2025.

The senator stated that he watched the SONA via television and emphasized the importance of tangible results benefiting Filipinos, especially those from marginalized communities.

Go expressed support for the Marcos administration's programs but stressed the need for prioritizing healthcare system strengthening and reducing inflation.

Vice President Sara Duterte is also not attending or monitoring the SONA.
