NLEX beats Blackwater 104-87 in PBA Governors' Cup

NLEX defeated Blackwater 104-87 in Group B of the PBA Governors' Cup on Thursday at Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Robert Bolick nearly achieved a triple-double with 24 points, nine rebounds, and 11 assists, while import Myke Henry contributed 31 points and 10 rebounds.

NLEX's victory gave new coach Jong Uichico his first win since returning to the PBA sidelines, tying them with Rain or Shine and San Miguel Beer at the top of their group.

Sedrick Barefield led Blackwater with 16 points but struggled with a poor shooting performance, while import Ricky Ledo managed just six points on 2-of-15 shooting.

Despite Barefield's efforts in the fourth quarter, Blackwater could not overcome the deficit and lost its second straight game.
