Blackwater ends six-game skid, beats TerraFirma 97-82

Christian David and Richard Escoto led Blackwater Bossing to a 97-82 victory over TerraFirma Dyip on Sunday evening at Ninoy Aquino Stadium in Manila, spoiling what could have been Terrafirma's final game in the PBA.

This win ended Blackwater's six-game losing streak, improving their record to 2-8 as they continued to take control of the game with a significant lead.

Escoto scored 21 points and four rebounds, while David contributed a double-double of 19 points and 12 rebounds along with four assists and one steal, scoring 15 of his points in the second quarter.

Sedrick Barefield and RK Ilagan added 12 points each, and BJ Andrade had 10 points for Blackwater, while Louie Sangalang led TerraFirma with 24 points.

Terrafirma remains in the process of completing its sale to Zamboanga Valientes, finishing with a 1-10 record after losing their tenth consecutive game.
