Manila Auxiliary Bishop Broderick Pabillo tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday.

Pabillo is asymptomatic but is following strict quarantine protocols and monitoring his condition closely.

His staff has tested negative, and those who had close contact with him last week have been informed to follow necessary safety measures.

Pabillo, an outspoken critic of President Duterte, assured people not to worry about him and said life must go on.
