Bicam OKs P10-K risk allowance for private health workers

The bicameral conference committee has approved a PHP10,000 COVID-19 special risk allowance for both public and private health workers.

Speaker Alan Peter Cayetano emphasized that during this pandemic, there is hardly any distinction between public and private healthcare workers who are treating COVID-19 patients.

The Bayanihan to Recover As One Act allocates a total of PHP10.5 billion for various compensations for medical frontliners.
