BI: Returning Filipinos no longer need arrival cards

Filipinos returning from abroad no longer need to fill out arrival or disembarkation cards upon entry, according to the Bureau of Immigration (BI).

The decision aims to ease travel requirements and reduce processing time for arriving Filipinos.

BI Port Operations Division Chief Carlos Capulong stated that with the decline in COVID-19 cases, these cards are no longer necessary for contact tracing efforts.

Daily passenger arrivals at airports have increased from 6,000 to 9,000 in March to 13,000 to 15,000 in April.
