BI faces difficulty screening travelers from SoKor's COVID-19 zones

BI is facing challenges in screening travelers from South Korea's North Gyeongsang Province, Daegu City, and Cheongdo County due to the coronavirus outbreak.

The South Korean government has pledged to issue a certification distinguishing travelers from these areas of concern, but this mechanism has not yet been implemented.

Currently, BI relies on resident registration certificates or national identification to determine if a traveler is coming from one of the restricted areas.
