Ben Tulfo files for Senate, opposes family 'dynasty'

Veteran broadcaster Ben Tulfo filed his certificate of candidacy for senator in the 2025 midterm elections on Saturday, October 5.

As an independent candidate, Tulfo emphasized that running for Senate prevents a 'dynasty' within the family, alongside his siblings who have long helped people through media.

Ben has decades of experience in the media and hosts BITAG, a documentary-reality show exposing criminal activities.

Former senator Leila de Lima also filed her certificate of nomination as the lead nominee of party-list Mamamayang Liberal (ML), reflecting on political persecution under the Duterte administration.
