Bella Belen commits to PVL draft, joins Day 2 combine

Three-time UAAP MVP Bella Belen reaffirmed her commitment to join the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Rookie Draft 2025 and attended Day 2 of the combine on Saturday at Paco Arena in Manila.

Despite missing the first day due to commitments in Laoag for the Palarong Pambansa, Belen confirmed during the event that she will participate in the draft night on June 8 at Novotel Hotel and expressed her decision to play for a Philippine team.

Capital1 Solar's coach Roger Gorayeb believes Belen is a perfect fit for their young team and has her as his top choice with the first overall pick rights, emphasizing her potential impact as a finisher.

Belen expressed excitement about joining Capital1, highlighting her hard work and dedication to helping the team win games while also looking forward to learning from Gorayeb who has coached numerous league MVPs like Alyssa Valdez.

The 2025 rookie class includes other talented players such as Alleiah Malaluan from La Salle, Alexis Miner of Ateneo, Sheena Toring and Erin Pangilinan of National U, and Mycah Go of College of St. Benilde.
