Basilan-Starhorse returns to MPBL with new roster

Basilan-Starhorse, also known as the Sea Titans, is set to return to the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) for its 7th season with high aspirations.

The team aims to secure a playoff spot and progress further in the 10-month tournament starting on March 8 in Ilagan, Isabela.

Coach Michael Tan has built a roster featuring veterans like Jervy Cruz and Arwind Santos alongside rising stars such as Rabeh Al-Hussaini and Jeff Viernes.

To prepare for the season, the Sea Titans have been playing against top college teams like De La Salle, Letran, and St. Benilde, as well as professional squads like Converge FiberXers to build team cohesion.

Team manager Bernard Yang emphasized that the owners are highly supportive of their return to the league after a four-year hiatus, aiming for steady progress towards playoff qualification.
