BARMM sees improving COVID-19 recovery rate

The Ministry of Health in the Bangsamoro Region in Muslim Mindanao (MOH-BARMM) reported an improving recovery rate for COVID-19 patients, with 31 percent of recent cases recovering.

As of Thursday, MOH-BARMM recorded four new cases and 11 probable cases, bringing the total confirmed cases to 411 since March 18.

Health Minister Dr. Saffrullah Dipatuan expressed hope for maintaining this recovery momentum.

Dipatuan also noted that as of Tuesday, Lanao del Sur and Marawi City had the highest number of cases at 161 patients (about 40 percent) with four deaths; Basilan and Lamitan City followed with 75 cases and one fatality.
