BARMM funds CRMC for local coronavirus testing

The Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) has provided P14.1 million to the Cotabato Regional and Medical Center (CRMC) for local coronavirus testing.

The funding will be used for medical supplies, laboratory personnel training, lab renovations, and operational expenses.

CRMC Chief of Hospital Helen Yambao stated that the hospital had tested 19 probable patients and detected six confirmed cases through samples sent to other facilities.

BARMM chief minister Ahod Ebrahim emphasized cooperation and faith in overcoming the pandemic challenge.
