Banks shorten hours as Metro Manila enters ECQ

Several banks have announced shortened operating hours due to stricter quarantine measures in Metro Manila, Laguna, Iloilo City, Cagayan de Oro City (ECQ until August 15), Rizal, Cavite, Lucena City (MECQ until August 15), Batangas and Quezon (GCQ with heightened restrictions until August 15).

BPI branches in Metro Manila, Gingoog City, Iloilo City, Iloilo Province, and Cagayan de Oro City will be open from 9 AM to 2 PM, while Iloilo branches will close at 1 PM.

Metrobank branches will operate from 9 AM to 3 PM Monday to Friday, with some closing earlier depending on local guidelines.

China Bank's ECQ branches will be open until 2 PM, MECQ branches until 3 PM, and GCQ/MGCQ branches until 3:30 PM.
