Bacolod receives Remdesivir, PPE from national government

Bacolod City received supplies of Remdesivir antiviral drugs and personal protective equipment (PPE) from the national government.

Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr., chief implementer of the Philippines’ Declared National Policy Against Covid-19, informed President Rodrigo Duterte about the aid sent to Bacolod during his public address on Monday night.

Mayor Evelio Leonardia expressed gratitude for the quick response and assistance provided by Malacañang in addressing the city's urgent need for medical personnel and supplies due to rising COVID-19 cases.
