Australia donates P57M worth of medical supplies to AFP

The Australian government donated P57 million worth of medical supplies and personal protective equipment to the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) on Tuesday.

Among the items donated were high flow oxygen machines, stretchers, defibrillators, disinfection kits, testing reagents, face masks, face shields, PPE sets, eye protectors, and KN95 masks.

These supplies will be delivered to the Victoriano Luna Medical Center (VLMC) to support its COVID-19 response efforts, including testing and hospitalization of minor to critical patients.

Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana and AFP Chief Lt. Gen. Jose Faustino Jr. received the donations in a ceremony at Pier 15, Manila South Harbor.
