Ateneo clinches Final Four berth, eliminates UE in OT

Ateneo de Manila University clinched a Final Four spot in the UAAP Season 85 men's basketball tournament after defeating University of the East in overtime on Wednesday.

Despite Dave Ildefonso's shooting struggles (3-of-14), he contributed crucial baskets and intangibles, including a clutch three-pointer to force OT and finished with 12 points, 14 rebounds, three assists, and three steals.

Kai Ballungay scored 14 points and seven rebounds while Ange Kouame posted a double-double of 12 points and 12 boards.

UE's Rey Remogat led the team with 21 points but it was not enough to prevent their elimination from Final Four contention.
