Philippines receives 1M Sinovac doses, aims for 25M by year-end

The Philippine government welcomed the arrival of 1 million doses of Sinovac's CoronaVac vaccine on Monday.

As of March, 80.85% of the total vaccines have been distributed to over 2,497 immunization sites nationwide.

Vaccine czar Carlito Galvez Jr. stated that simultaneous vaccination could be possible once steady supplies are available, aiming for a target of inoculating at least 500,000 daily.

The government plans to receive an additional 1 million doses from Sinovac in April and aims to fulfill the procurement of 25 million doses by the end of the year.
