Testing lab named after late mayor inaugurated in Bulacan

A COVID-19 testing laboratory named after the late Bocaue Mayor Joni Villanueva was inaugurated in Bulacan on Friday.

The facility, located at the Jose B. Lingad Memorial Hospital extension, can conduct up to 5,000 tests daily with an initial capacity of 1,500 tests per day.

Senator Joel Villanueva led the inauguration and expressed gratitude that the laboratory was named after his sister.

The PHP60-million facility offers testing for as low as PHP2,000 per kit and will be operational starting Wednesday.
