Congress eyes Bayanihan II extension to March or June

Congress is considering extending the validity of Bayanihan II, which expires on December 19, until March or June 2021.

House Appropriations Committee Chairman Eric Yap suggests an extension to March if funds have not been fully utilized.

Senator Sonny Angara proposes extending Bayanihan II further until June and also considering the extension of the 2020 General Appropriations Act (GAA) until June or December 2021.
