UPHSD men's volleyball team secures five-peat bid, honors Acaylar

The University of Perpetual Help (UPHSD) men's volleyball team won a crucial match against San Beda on Saturday, securing their position to pursue a five-peat feat in NCAA Season 100.

Coach Sammy Acaylar, who led the Altas to previous championships and recently passed away, was honored by his former players with this victory.

Kobe Tabuga and Jefferson Marapoc were top scorers for UPHSD with 16 and 15 points respectively, contributing significantly to their team's success.

In women's volleyball, UPHSD dominated San Beda with a decisive win of 25-18, 28-26, 25-16, marking the start of their championship campaign.

Shaila Omipon led the scoring for the women's team with 16 points, while Winnie Bedana and Camille Bustamante added 11 and 10 points respectively.
