Alleiah Malaluan shines in PLDT's win over Chery Tiggo

Alleiah Malaluan impressed in her professional debut as PLDT swept Chery Tiggo 25-16, 25-14, 25-20 in the PVL Invitational Conference on Thursday at Philsports Arena.

Malaluan contributed a game-high 11 points with 10 successful attacks and added 13 excellent digs and nine excellent receptions.

PLDT head coach Rald Ricafort emphasized resting regular starters after their recent PVL On Tour victory, providing opportunities for rookies like Malaluan to shine.

Cess Robles led Chery Tiggo with eight points while Jen Nierva recorded 18 excellent digs and nine excellent receptions.

PLDT improved their record to 2-0 while Chery Tiggo fell to 1-1 in the Invitational Conference.
