Albay imposes restrictions on unvaxxed, resumes border control

Starting Wednesday, Albay will impose additional restrictions on unvaccinated individuals who are banned from indoor and outdoor dining, hotels, country clubs, leisure trips, and public transport.

Unvaccinated people must present a negative RT-PCR test result every two weeks to leave their homes for work; control points manned by the Philippine National Police will be set up at borders with Camarines Sur, Sorsogon, and Masbate.

Fully vaccinated individuals can enter Albay without testing requirements but need to show vaccination cards; unvaccinated or partially vaccinated persons must present a negative antigen or RT-PCR test result within 48 hours prior to entry.
