Alas Pilipinas fields Bella Belen, Alyssa Solomon, Angel Canino for SEA V-League

Alas Pilipinas will field Bella Belen, Alyssa Solomon, and Angel Canino for the first leg of the SEA V-League scheduled from August 1 to 3 in Thailand.

Returning players include Shaina Nitura, Cla Loresco, Eya Laure, Vanie Gandler, Leila Cruz, Fifi Sharma, Dell Palomata, Maddie Madayag, and rookie Mars Alba who will make her debut in the tournament.

Coach Jorge Souza De Brito confirmed that Filipino-American players Brooke Van Sickle, MJ Phillips, and Tia Andaya are still not cleared to play due to ongoing federation transfer processes.

Angel Canino and Bella Belen are returning to national team duties as Alas Pilipinas gears up for the 2025 Southeast (SEA) V. League early next month.

Alas aims to improve upon its two bronze medal finishes from last year and begins its campaign against defending champion Thailand on August 1, followed by matches against Vietnam and Indonesia.
