AJ EDU leads Gilas with double-double vs Saudi Arabia

AJ EDU made a strong debut in the FIBA Asia Cup in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, stepping up as the primary big man for the Philippines.

In his group play games and crucial match against Saudi Arabia, Mr. EDU led the team with 8.3 rebounds per game and contributed significantly to securing a vital win that kept Gilas' quarterfinal hopes alive.

Mr. EDU's performance was highlighted by a double-double of 17 points and 14 rebounds in a key overtime victory against Saudi Arabia, where he also recorded 4 assists and 1 block, overcoming subpar shooting with crucial late-game contributions.

His parents were present for the first time at the King Abdullah Sports City arena to support him, which motivated him greatly during the game.
