PBA player Jerrick Ahanmisi scores 3 four-point shots, makes history

PBA player Jerrick Ahanmisi made history by becoming the first local player to score three four-point shots in a game during Magnolia's 105-93 victory over Converge on Friday, August 23.

Ahanmisi, who was featured guarding the league’s first-ever four-point shot but missed his own attempt earlier this season, redeemed himself with his performance against Converge after being reminded by his wife of the irony.

The former Adamson standout went 3-of-4 from the new arc and finished with 14 points, contributing to Magnolia's comeback win following a close loss to Meralco.

Veteran teammate Paul Lee praised Ahanmisi's hard work and dedication, noting his consistent effort despite limited playing time last season.

Ahanmisi expressed hope that this season would be his breakthrough year as he continues to improve and maximize his opportunities in the starting lineup.
