Typhoon Ulysses losses exceed P10B

The losses due to Typhoon Ulysses have exceeded PHP10 billion as of Thursday, November 19.

Agricultural damage is at PHP4.02 billion while infrastructure damage amounts to PHP6.10 billion across several regions in Luzon.

Houses damaged by the typhoon total 65,222 with 6,050 classified as 'totally damaged' and 59,172 as 'partially damaged'.

The DA-CAR reported PHP308.7 million worth of agricultural losses in the Cordillera Administrative Region, primarily affecting corn, rice, high-value crops, livestock, and poultry.

Total agriculture damage has risen to nearly PHP4 billion, impacting 104,733 farmers and fisherfolk across multiple regions.
