AFP pledges full support for Marcos' West Philippine Sea stance

The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) has pledged full support for President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s stance on defending the country's rights over the West Philippine Sea, as outlined in his State of the Nation Address.

AFP Chief Gen. Romeo Brawner emphasized that the military will maintain vigilance and uphold sovereignty through diplomatic means and constructive dialogue while continuing its mission to protect territorial integrity.

The Philippine Navy (PN) expressed gratitude for Marcos' support and reaffirmed their commitment to safeguarding the West Philippine Sea, noting that their sacrifices in defending territorial integrity are recognized.
