AFP plans Ayungin Shoal resupply within two weeks

The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) plans to conduct another resupply mission for Filipino troops stationed at Ayungin Shoal within the next two weeks.

On August 5, Chinese Coast Guard ships interfered with a previous resupply attempt, preventing one of the chartered vessels from completing its task.

AFP spokesperson Col. Medel Aguilar stated that only half of the supplies were unloaded due to the incident and emphasized the need for timely resupply.
