AC Miner leads ZUS Coffee to comeback victory over Capital1

AC Miner scored 18 points, including 13 kills and five blocks, leading ZUS Coffee to a come-from-behind victory against winless Capital1 in their first PVL on Tour game on Sunday at Ynares Center.

Miner, the fifth overall pick for ZUS Coffee, helped her team recover from deficits after three sets to force a decisive set and ultimately secure the match in two hours and 13 minutes.

Jov Gonzaga's game-winning cut shot sealed the victory for ZUS Coffee in the crucial fifth set.

Coach Jerry Yee praised Miner’s resilience and the team's ability to bounce back despite integrating new players, while Capital1 remains winless after four games.

ZUS Coffee will face Creamline and Cignal in Passi, Iloilo on July 19 and 20, respectively, continuing their PVL on Tour campaign.
